Obituary
In Loving Memory of Andras (Andy) Boros, 54 years old. Born January 27, 1961 passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa. Beloved husband to Lori and Proud father to Sarah and Andrew. Wonderful brother to Mike (Liz), Mary (George), Elijah (Pricilla), Liz (Alan), Helen (Bill), Joe (Timea), and Linda (David). Brother-In-Law to Sonny and Nikki. Inspirational uncle to David, Danny, Cynthia, Christopher, Joel, Michelle, Brian, Jennifer, Julie, Michael, Heather, Matthew, Joshua, Benjamin, Zachary, Taylor, Ryan, Elizabeth, Grace, Maddy, Genny and Sterling.
Andy was born in Senta, Yugoslavia on January 27, 1961 to his parents Andras and Elizabeth Boros. He immigrated to Canada with his family on May 2, 1970. Hungarian traditions were a big part of their lives, including celebrating special occasions with family and feasts of food.
Andy worked for Bell Canada for more than 30 years. He was employed as a Senior Facility Technician and an active member of the union local, Unifor 27-C. He was proud to represent the Union as Chief Steward and Bargaining Committee Member.
Andy was an avid sports fan and loved watching all sports, especially the Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Canadiens. But mostly, he will be fondly remembered for spending quality time with family. Whether it was travelling by RV to Alaska or Newfoundland, or faithfully attending Sarah and Andrews swim meets, baseball games and hockey games, he always put family first.
He will remain forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, Andy’s sisters set up an account where contributions can be made to the Boros Children Education Fund. Scotiabank 683460145688 or envelopes can be dropped off at the chapel.

Our deepest condolences to the Boros Family. Remain strengthened. Andy was a great guy to my son and I. There was never a hesitation to help or assist in any way he could. When I couldn't make those long baseball drives, Andy was the first to say "don't worry!" We will remember his frustration with certain calls and excitement when we were doing well...and supportive words when we weren't doing so well! We will keep in our memories these things and so much more! Lori, Andrew and Sarah again our deepest sympathy.

Dear Uncle Andy,
I will cherish all the wonderdul memories with you. The most special moments were how you taught me to play baseball, hockey and of course the many trips to Florida to see the Blue Jays in spring training.
I love you Uncle Andy I am your "Bozo" forever.
