It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Angelo Marco Antonio on the morning of Saturday October 28, 2017. Born June 6, 1931 in Pettorano Sul Gizio. Beloved husband of 60 years to Anna. Loving father to Peter and Kim, Marco and Susie, and Lisa and Rico Gambale. Adored Nonno to Angelo, Paolo, Lianna, Marissa, Jessica, Marc, Sophia, Sarina, and Ariana. Predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Annina, in-laws Francescopaolo and Sabina Palmieri. Brother and brother-in-law to the late Liberatore and Gaetana, Giovanna and Giacomo Tristani, Francesco and Nina, the late Gilberto and Idea Palmieri, Fernando and Giuliana Palmieri, the late Liliana Palmieri, and Maria and the late Ugo Vacca.

Angelo was a proud employee of Dofasco, working in the foundry for 30 years. His love in life was family and friends, and he adored his grandchildren immensely. Nonno enjoyed his retired years working on numerous projects, spending time in the garden, making wine, and most of all being together with his family.

Angelo was an angel here on earth, and is now looking down on us as our angel in heaven.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd East HAMILTON (905-574-0405) on Tuesday October 31, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated on Wednesday November 1st, 10 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 165 Prospect St N. Entombment at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
