Anna Barcovich (nee Zuzich born in Istria)
It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of our beloved mother, mother in law, and Nonna on October 5th 2017. Peacefully, in her 98th year, with her daughter at her side Anna was called to heaven to join her beloved husband Vittorio, daughter Aurora, and mother Antica. Beloved mother of Christina Seperic and late husband Frank of Hamilton. Most loved mother and mother in law of Giuseppantonio and Maria Italiano of Ancaster. Most cherished Nonna to Tony Barcovich (Frances), Lenny Islami, Denny Islami (Marilyn), Paula Yurcich (Joe), Frank Seperic (Jennifer), Anna Maria Moniz (Mike). Rosa Stanlake (Michael). Beloved great Grandmother of Christopher, Samantha, Domenick, Nicolas, Lily, Lucas, Daniella, Katie, Alexa, Natasha, Sophie, Hugh, Sadie, and Joseph. Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton, ON) Friday October 6th from 3:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. and a mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. Ann's Parish (11 Wilson St. W., Ancaster, ON) on Saturday October 7th at 10:30 a.m. followed by internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Anna will be greatly missed by many cousins and friends in Canada, United States, Italy, and Croatia. A special thank you to Regina Gardens for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to the McMaster Children’s Hospital will be greatly appreciated. Nonna, you will always be missed. Rest in peace; we love you, you are our guardian angel.
