In Celebration of

Anna Wereha

May 11, 1927 -  September 29, 2018

With loving hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Anna surrounded by her family on Saturday September 29, 2018 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Mykola (1970). Loving Mama of Bill (Marcy), Helen (Randall), and Nick (Antonella). Cherished Baba of Paul (Michelle), Andrika (Justin), Shaelyn, Alyssa, and Nicholas. Proud Pra Baba of Lukas. Coming to Canada from Ukraine in 1948, Anna married in 1950, built a life, and started a family with her husband until his passing in 1970. Through her friends' support she enjoyed community involvement and proudly became the President of the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League at Holy Spirit Church. Anna supported the dreams of her family with all of her heart. Family was her everything. She shared her love through food, and made the best nalysnyky, borscht, pyrohy, holubtsi, and babka. We thank our Mama for her unconditional love, kindness, and deep-rooted focus on family. This will live on in our hearts. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends at The Wellington Retirement Home, CBI Home Health, Hazel and Dylan in the Intensive Care Unit at Juravinski Hospital, Father Yuriy, and the Bay Gardens Funeral Home for their compassionate care.
