Molly (Phillips) Shannon (Neighbour and Friend)

Growing up on West 2nd St. in Hamilton, Bill and Audrey Ford and their four children were our neighbours and very good friends. My parents Ken and Edna Phillips socialized with Bill and Audrey. The Ford kids and the Phillips kids shared happy, childhood and teenage years together. We all at one time, attended nearby South Gate Presbyterian Church, where Audrey taught Sunday School.

Audrey will be remembered as a good wife and mother, a hard worker and a very calm person. Her quiet nature, held underneath a strong woman, who dedicated her life to her family and helping Bill run his business.

My deepest sympathy to all who loved her.

To all of Aunt Audrey's family and to my cousins,

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Audrey's passing. She was a lovely lady and I always liked being around her. I have very fond memories of the good times we had at the Ford household on West 2nd, when Lynda and I would get together for playtime or sleepovers. Aunt Audrey was always so kind, gentle and calm despite the goings on of 4 kids and their friends. I always admired Aunt Audrey and though of her as a very special person.

We will all miss her very, very much.
