In Celebration of

Barry Turner

October 22, 1954 -  May 31, 2018

Peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Willowgrove Residence, Barry passed away in his sleep with his wife by his side, at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Helen Turner (nee Radnor), married for 19 years. Loving father of Gavin, Callum, and Kaleigh. Only brother to his 4 sisters, fun-loving uncle to his nieces and nephew.

Barry made friends with so many people. He had a charming personality and a contagious smile and laugh. He was a self-employed handyman with a strong work ethic. He loved his motorcycle, was a “master of dad jokes”, and spent many good times playing pool with his friends. Barry will always be remembered.

Join us in celebrating Barry’s life on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd East, Hamilton from 1:00pm -4:00pm with a Memorial Service at 2:00pm. To all who come, thank you, and if you wish to make a memorial contribution, we kindly ask that you make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

I’ll always remember Barry’s sparkling eyes and wonderful smile. He was a kind and gentle soul as well as a very hardworking, thoughtful and giving man. He has more than earned his wings. My thoughts and prayers are with you Helen at this sad time.

Every one of us was touched by Barry's twinkling blue eyes and mischievous giggle every time we saw him. A more fun-loving and full-of-life spirit we have never met, and I'm sure will never come across again. There was only one Barry. He will be so missed. Lots of happy memories with and about him though. Our thoughts are with you Helen, Gavin, Kayleigh and Calum
