In Celebration of

Brian Greaves

October 18, 1962 -  November 23, 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Greaves on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the age of 57. Loving father of Crystal (Brenden), Melody and Liam. Dear son of Dr. Kevin Greaves and son-in-law of Frances Hilvers, cherished brother of Maureen Greaves (Paul) and brothers-in-law Greg Hilvers and Mike Hilvers (Lisa). Predeceased by his wife Cindy Greaves (nee Hilvers), his mother Christina Greaves (nee Gray), his brother Peter Greaves, and his father-in-law Harry Hilvers. He also will be fondly remembered by all of his nieces, and his beloved girlfriend, Mellissa Kendall and her two children.

Brian lived an active life and always wanted to make the most of every day. He was an avid biker and skier, and enjoyed playing on his ultimate Frisbee team. He had a great love for music, as well as writing songs and poems. He will always be remembered for the hard work he did to provide for his family and the courage it took to start his own business and make it a success.

To join in a celebration of Brian’s life Memorial Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive, BURLINGTON (905.527.0405) on Friday, December 6 2019 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:00 am followed by interment at Grove Cemetery, Dundas.

If desired, as expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
