41 years of friendship with Cathy, having met each other as colleagues at Chedoke Hospital in 1974. Her spirit was always sweet gentle and loving. So deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been with her the last weekend of August... Amazed by her courage and openness. Now her spirit soars free... To Ron and her family, My deepest sympathy and shared sorrow at this great loss. Love Joan

Ron, Jamie and Kevin,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Cathy was a lovely lady inside and out. Her friendship during our "hockey" years was important to me. She will be missed.

Cathy was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed every moment spent with them. The arrival of little Everett gave her so much joy and gave her the will to keep on fighting, which she did so openly and bravely. She never stopped smiling.
She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her, and I will miss her, along with everyone who had the good fortune to know her.
Rest in peace my friend. |

Cathy was a wonderful person, full of love and laughter. I had the pleasure of working with Cathy. She brightened a dull day at work with her smile and I never saw her upset or angry. She enjoyed a good joke or story, and was always willing to listen.
Cathy always had the most positive attitude, even at the most difficult times in her illness. She loved and lived life to its fullest. Never a dull moment!!
I will always have fond, funny memories of Cathy. Like work Christmas parties that got a little silly at times!
Cathy should be an inspiration to us all.
My condolences to her family, I am thinking about you all at this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Cathy, we love you.
Lesley
