Chezepock John

APRIL 2, 1928 - OCTOBER 11, 2017

It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Chezepock on October 11, 2017. He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Marie (Cuthill). Son, Marc (Rhonda) and daughter Karen Burke (Ed Dixon). John was a fun loving grandfather and will be missed by Neil (Sarah), Christopher (Chantal), James, Amanda Burke, Emily Burke and Julia Burke. A Hamilton native, John enjoyed a long career at the International Harvester before retiring to spend more time with family and pursue his true passion, wine making. He won many awards for his wine in Canada and internationally, including "Grand Champion Amateur Winemaker of Ontario" With his out going personality and his love of life, John will be remembered by nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention. On behalf of our Fitness group at the Empress, our thoughts and prayers are with our dear friend Marie and family during this very sad time. John was a member of our fitness class for many years at The Empress and we will always remember him dancing "Cheek to Cheek" with his sweetheart Marie🌹
