In Celebration of

David Lees

MAY 20, 1936 - OCTOBER 8, 2017

Peacefully surrounded by family at St. Joseph's Hospital on October 8th, 2017 in his 82nd year. Loving husband of Anne for 60 years. Cherished father of Deby Hildrop, Diane Francella (Louie), Michelle Bryant (Gary) and Karen Dawson (Joe). Proud Papa of 11 grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Mamie and Robert Steele and the late Nan Buchan. and brother in law to Jim and Helen McLeish and the late May Young (Walter). He will be missed by his extended family, friends and loved ones. After immigrating to Canada from Scotland in 1955, David worked at Stelco before he became a proud member of UA Local 67 for 47 years. His sense of humour always put a smile on the faces of everyone around. When he wasn't traveling to new countries his time was spent golfing and playing soccer. David was proud of his heritage and loved both of the countries he has called home. A special thank you to Dr. Barbara Nathanson and her staff, the staff at Macassa Lodge Day Program, the doctors, nurses, PSWs and staff at St. Joseph's Healthcare, the Alzheimer Society and to our neighbours and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph's Healthcare or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. A Memorial Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J.
