Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on January 14th, 2016 at the age of 73 in Burlington, Ontario. She was predeceased by her parents Felix and Celina Bordeleau. Loving mother of Remi, Clark, Andre "AJ" Chase and Derek. Adoring mother-in-law of Kevin Beitz, Ann Marie Tirabassi, Snooky Sularte, Kimberly Langille and Sylvia Euale. Devoted grandma of Tylor, Alex, Jesse, Chloe, Elise, Dante and Clara. Cherished sister of Felix Bordeleau (late), Rita Busque, Aurore Perugini, Jeanne Albert and Louie Bordeleau (late). Treasured sister-in-law of Denny Busque (late), Al Perugini, Jack Albert (late), Shannon McGregor and Beverly Bordeleau. Dianne will also be missed by many caring nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Dianne was a good soul. She was a loving, kind-hearted, strong woman, grounded with common sense, who lived for her family. She was hard-working. She was employed with Loblaws for 42 years working in the meat department and delicatessen. She had an infectious laugh and was always willing to lend an ear for her friends and family. Her strength was also in her ability to give great advice and provide guidance. She was a quiet force of reason that guided many in her life. She never backed down from a challenge, whether it was successfully raising four children on her own, or fighting a life threatening illness. Her last months were predominantly in hospital where she befriended her care givers with her warmth and smile. She never uttered a complaint to her last breath. When asked how she was feeling hours before she passed, she whispered…”not too bad thanks” with a smile.

A special thank you to Joseph Brant Hospital ICU and Cancer Clinic, Hamilton General Hospital ICU and Juravinski Cancer Centre. The family also thanks Father Rico of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Grimsby for his many prayers and the guidance he gave our mother.

With Sympathy...Loved ones live on in the words they said, in the lives they touched, and in the happiness we feel everytime we remember them. May it help to know that we're thinking of you with deepest sympathy and heartfelt understanding.

Dear Dianne- Mom, I loved you as my mother and my friend. You were always willing to help us and did without ever expecting anything in return. Never judging anything we said or did, but always ready to listen. You lived your life honestly and with true generosity to others- friends and family. You loved us all no matter what happened over the years. You will be greatly missed. You had such love and enthusiasm for your grandchildren, they will never forget you. Your smile and laugh brought happiness to everyone around you. You taught me how to stay strong and keep going even when it is difficult. Thank you.

Prentice and I are sorry hear about your families loss. We shared many laughs, I will always remember the laughing in the elevator when I was 9 months pregnant...I thought Kim was going to be born in the elevator. I will miss her laugh and smiles.
Love Prentice and Anne
