Dino DiDonato

April 15, 1933 -  February 22, 2017


It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dino at the Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in his 83rd year. He passed peacefully as he succumbed to a short-lived battle with pneumonia. Predeceased by Anna, his cherished wife of 51 years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Roy and Ann, Joe and Tammy, grandfather of Mark, James, Spencer and Alison. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Vince and Lila, Domenic and Lina and families. Dino will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is in a better place now, finally reunited with his true love.

Friends and family will be received at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Friday, February 24 from 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish of Saturday, February 25 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

A generous and thoughtful man, he always treated us with dignity and respect, Anna and Dino were gracious parents during our formative years, their home was always open to us for dinner and socializing. You will both be sorely missed as time passes too quickly. Rest in peace.
