After bravely battling a rare muscular dystrophy disease for the past four years, Enid Marlene Weekes passed peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family and loved ones. An adored sister to Angela, Winston, Lemuel (Juney) and Ralph (Vicki), and special cousin to Gloria. She is now reunited with her brother Irvine and sister Sheila, as well as her mother and father ­Stanley and Lillian. A beloved aunt to Shaun, Melissa, Matthew, David, Lynette, Tony and Mark, she will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews.

Born in Trinidad and raised in Barbados, Enid emigrated to Canada in 1969 and made Hamilton her home. Dedicated to her church and community, Enid impacted countless lives and will be missed by many, but as her friends and family know, she is definitely in a better place. Rest in peace, Enid - a true and faithful servant of the Lord.

Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East , HAMILTON. {905-574-0405) on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
