Entered into rest surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Hamilton General Hospital. Filippo in his 89th year was the beloved husband of Anna Maria (nee Butera) for 65 years. Devoted father to Calogero (Kimberlee), Giuseppe (Patsy), John (Bella), Sandro (Rachel) and predeceased by son Giuseppe. Proud Nonno to Matthew (Shannon), Amanda (Kevin), Phillip (Ashley), Christina (Shawn), Anna (Daniel), Filippo, Rebekah, Carmela, Anna, Daniel, Jonathan and Rachael. Loving Bisnonno to Calleigh, Brooklyn and Ryan. Step grandfather to Kathryn, Christine (Darren) with Hudson, Evan and Pierre. Predeceased by his parents; Calogero and Alfonsa. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Anna (the late Lorenzo), the late Giuseppe, Lorenzo (Lilla), Alfonsa (Giovanni), Giuseppina (the late Nicola), the late Vincenza (the late Alfonzo), the late Giuseppe (Lilla), Salvatore (the late Melina), Gerlando (Brigida), and Lorenzo (Maria). Forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
