Frances Mary Michelis

Frances “Mary” Michelis (née Potter)
Passed away peacefully on November 14, 2017 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Karol ‘Charles’ Michelis. Loving mother of Mark Michelis (Anne), Anna Levi (Greg) and Amanda (deceased). Cherished granny of John(Katie), Jenna, Gillian and Rhys and great grandmother of Elodie and Charlie. Survived by dear sisters Beryl Palmer and Valerie Baldwin. Predeceased by brothers Peter and Brian Potter.
Mary was born in Wiltshire England and went to high school in Devizes. She qualified as a registered nurse in 1952 in London England and continued her nursing career for 25 years when she moved to London in Canada in 1953.
Mary enjoyed gardening at the family farm near St. Joseph Ontario. She was keen on all types of embroidery and was an active member of the Mississauga and Toronto embroidery guilds.
