Dear Ralph,

I am deeply saddened by the news of your Nona's passing. I know how attached you were to her. It's a big loss. I loved reading about her love for her children and grandchildren. It's a great legacy to leave behind when we graduate from our earthly existence.

Find comfort in knowing that this only means a transition and that she's graduated with high honours.

My deepest sympathy to you and yours,

Maria Martinez

Diane Adams (Daughter)

Francesca loved and adored her family and cherished the times she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She enjoyed her flower gardens and in her later years she loved to sit outside and watch the birds as her gardens flourished. The gardens brought joy and comfort to all who sat by them with her as they were lush and beautiful from her hard working hands.

Her love of nature did not stop outside, she had a green thumb and was able to bring any plant to life and often her words did the same. Her strength and courage was a beacon for all her children who learned tenacity and the meaning of hard work.

She started in Italy as a seamstress at the age of 14, took care of her brothers and sister, her father, and the household when her mother was ill.

She came to Canada with nothing and built the small family business Frances Fashions with her husband Arnaldo. She had a great sense of style, a good sense of humour, and a forgiving nature but most of all she had a really big loving heart and made many sacrifices to ensure the happiness of her children and family.
