Mulas, Francesco
After a courageous six-year battle with cancer and surrounded by his loving family, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Mulas on May 27th, in his 81st year. Precious husband of 53 years to Mariangela. Will live forever in the hearts of his sons Antonio (Anna) and Cipriano (Daniella) and his beloved grandchildren Andrea, Nicholas, Marco and Frankie. Loving brother of Serafino Mulas and sister Maria Mulas. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Manuela Mulas, brother Salvatore, and sister Caterina. Also predeceased by his in-laws Cipriano and Rosaria Sagheddu, and brother-in-law Giovantonio Sagheddu. He also leaves behind his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Filippo and Serafina Dettori, Salvatore Sagheddu, Dionigio and Giuseppa Sagheddu, Pietro and Elena Delussu, Nanni and Maria Sagheddu, Ottavio Ghiani, Giovanna Mulas, and cousins Antonio and Fina Ruiu. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, Germany, and Belgium. Francesco was born in Dorgali, Sardinia. At a young age, he immigrated to Germany and then to Canada in 1967. He worked for decades as a reputable home builder in Hamilton and Halton and taught the masonry trade to both his sons and to many other young men in our community. He will be remembered for his hard work and his dedication and love for family. Our family expresses gratitude to the doctors, nurses and medical staff at the Juravinski Hospital, as well as St. Joseph's Homecare, and Bayshore Home Health Services.
For those who wish, memorial donations made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated. Please sign the online Book of Condolences at www.baygardens.ca
