It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francesco Rizzuto on Thursday January 18, 2018. Francesco in his 90th year was a loving and devoted husband for 59 years to Vincenza Rizzuto. Deeply cherished father to Lia and Morris Leuzzi, Mary and Frank Luongo. Most adored Nonno to Michael (Sara), Lisa-Marie (Marcus), Carley (Brendan), Paolo, and Analisa. Dear brother to Rosa Agresta (Mario), Maria Urso (Angelo), Anna Latorre (Carlos), Franca Salvina (Antonio), Santina Sorrentino (Marino) and the late Teresa Rizzuto. Brother in law Giuseppe Nicoletti (Anna) and Antonio Nicoletti (Irene). Predeceased by his parents Pasquale and Aurelia Rizzuto, and in laws Ernesto and Maria Nicoletti. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family friends and loved ones from Canada, Italy and Australia. Francesco was a family man, whose big gentle heart, contagious smile, and endless care for those he loved will forever be cherished. Francesco worked at J. I. Case for 31 years retiring in 1990. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Sunday January 21st from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and from, 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Vigil Prayers will take place at 3:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, 400 Potruff Road North (At Nash), on Monday, January 22nd at 9:00 am. Followed by Entombment at Our Lady of The Angels Catholic Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
