Fred Lalonde
April 22, 1939 - June 18, 2016
Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce Fred's passing on June 18, 2016 at the age of 77. He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn and his children Sherry, Mike (Debbie), Gord (Janice), Patti (Randy). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jeff (Sherrie), Sean, Kristen (Mark), Courtney, Sheri, John and families. Proud great-papa to Mark, Austin and Quinn. Predeceased by grandson Danny. Fred will be forever remembered by his extended family and friends. He was a dedicated 52 year-volunteer in the hockey community. We wish to thank the caring nursing staff at the Juravinski Hospital for their compassion and kindness.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or Camp Trillium would be appreciated.

My heart aches with the passing of Freddy. He will be a man I will always remember and every time I see a peanut butter cup it is going to bring a special smile to my face. Prayers to the family !

I've known Fred for at least 20 years or more. We met through hockey back in the Stoney Creek days. Many of times he would come up to games in Cambridge, Kitchener, Ellmira & Waterloo.

He was a very generous & caring person that I got to know through the years. R.I.P. my old hockey freind. You will be missed very much.

I have lost a great friend, and will always remember the great times we spent travelling to the hockey rinks. You will be thoroughly missed. May you rest R.I.P. Special condolences to the family.

Fred's legacy of nurturing inspired us. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

May that lifetime of memories comfort you.
