The Abell family is grieving the sudden passing of George Grant Abell at Hamilton General Hospital on June 8th, 2019. Born in Lampton County, George was a loving and caring husband to Mary Ruth Abell (Nee Browning) for 64 years. He was a devoted father to Jani Robinson (Ken), Cynthia Giasson (Richard) and Jonathan(Luxmi). He will be deeply missed by his grand children Kaitlin, Lucas, Jessica, Laura, Josh, Ayesha and Charlotte; his great grand children Xavier and Cruz. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Etta Abell, brother Roy and sister Dora Cornell. As a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, he served in many capacities in the church in Sarnia and in Burlington. He was a dedicated educator and administrator for 39 years and as a sports enthusiast, he loved playing and coaching different sports. He will be remembered for his humility and grace with which he lived his life. In keeping with George's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on June 22nd at 11 am at West Highland church, 1605 Garth St., Hamilton
