Obituary
SWICK. George Hewitt
June 6, 1947 - March 9, 2016

With great sadness we announce the passing of our dearest George on March 9th, 2016 at the age of 68. Cherished father to Geordi, Laura, Sandi Fleet (Marty) and Tomi. Adored Grandfather to Anisa, Ethan, Moyra, Liam, Avery, Dawson, Finlay and Ben. Loving Brother of Carol Hotrum and John. Pre-deceased by his parents Reg and Doris and lifetime companions Jim Wildish and Muirell. He will also be missed by his partner Peter Flood. Wonderful Uncle to Cheryl, Mark, Charlene, Bobby, Donna and extended family Rick & Nancy Smith, Irene, Ron & Jan Black, Gary & Joan Wildish, The Curtis and Bowman Families as well as brother/sister-in-laws Ann Savage (Art), Gary Hotrum and Loretta. George will be remembered by so many wonderful friends. After retiring from STELCO, he remained so very active. He was just the most active and social person. Involved in the GHL Hockey League, Waistliners dance and Zumba classes and all things involved with health and fitness. The outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming and we feel blessed. Thank you to RN Andrea Charters and all the staff on E4 and CICU RN Sandy for their loving care.
The world will surely miss this most kindred, generous loving, and sexy soul!

Hi Peter and Family -
I am so very sad to hear of Grorges passing.
I think about him and Jim often.
Sadly I have a concert tomorrow and cannot attend but
do know you are in my prayers.

With Love

GEORGE we will miss you. George was a founding member of our Line Dance Troupe the WAISTLNERS from Brantford and danced with us at many events, fundraisers, community functions and private parties. George also was a valuable kicking asset in our Zumba classes. His smile, his finesse and his dancing feet were legendary on our dance floors. We are dedicating all of our upcoming shows to his legacy and have already choreographed a routine in his honour. George made everyone feel like a million dollars and was quick with a compliment and a flirt to all of the ladies. We loved him very much. Stomp it out LOUD Georgie...
