Peacefully at home with his family by his side on April 16, 2017 in his 79th year. Loving husband of the late Nona. Devoted father of Carrie Kennedy (David) and John. Proud grandpa of Jami Lee (Braedon), Tyler, Erin, Andrew (Marie-Eve), Kalie and great grandpa of Avery, Emma and Eden. Brother to John (Eileen), Christine (Ken), Elizabeth and Brian. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends here and in Scotland. A proud supporter of the Glasgow Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs. Memorial visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in chapel on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 am. Cremation. George was an amazing man, so kind and funny. I will always remember visiting the house and having some fun times joking around and laughing. He always gave me a great big hug! My thoughts are with the family and friends, I hope all of the good memories follow for years to come. Love you!

We havent spent much time together in recent years but that doesent change that were family.. ill always rmemember when you used to take out your dentures to scare me then i became infatuated with them hahah.. You always used to catch me picking my nose and say "quit pikin yer beak " you also gave me my first set of golf clubs and got me hooked on the game of golf .. i still have some arnold palmer shirts you gave me once upon a time that i shall cherish . Thanks for the memories and you shall live on through your wonderful family rip lots of love andrew:)
