NOVOSELAC, George Obrad

Peacefully after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, April 27, 2017, George Novoselac in his 75th year. Born in Soko - Banja, Serbia during the war and raised in Novi Sad until he moved to Hamilton when he was 14 years old. George was a hard worker and enjoyed a long career with Sears. Beloved husband of Martha Novoselac (nee Boyd) for 26 years. Loving father of Brad (Lisa), Michael (Sandy), Katharina Laurin (Darrin) and Kate Wadsworth (Jason). Proud Grandpa of Sean, Andrew, Neil, Owen, Hannah, Eva, Holly, Lorelei and Rowyn. George will be sadly missed by many cousins both here in Canada and Europe.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Sunday, April 30th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - Hamilton, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Hamilton. For those who wish, memorial donations made to the Hamilton Burlington SPCA would be appreciated. After working with the elderly and cancer patients for over 25 years, I always remind myself that they are no longer suffering.....yes, the family is grieving but you have to remind yourself that George is at peace now.
