PUZZO, Giovanni

Peacefully at home on December 16, 2016 surrounded by his family at the age of 77. Loving husband of Maria. Dear father and father-in-law of Ralph and Gina, and Charlie and Rose. Adoring grandfather to six grandchildren, Giovanni, Anthony, Charlie, Maria, Sabrina and Nicholas. Predeceased by his parents Raffaele and Giovanna and his in-laws Calogero and Concettina Tinebra and brothers-in-law Salvatore, Calogero and Alfonso of Italy. Survived by his brothers Carlo (the late Maria), Santo (Maria), Salvatore (Darlene) and Pino. Also survived by his sister Maria (Orlando) Grimaldi, the late Gino and Enza and Alfonso. Predeceased by his uncles Alfonso Puzzo and Antonio Puzzo, brother-in-law the late Angelo Tinebra and his wife Giuseppina, Carmelo and Maria Tinebra, Giuseppe and Concetta Salemi and Rosetta Tinebra. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada, Italy, Germany, and Belgium. A special thank you to Dr. Roselyn Juergens and the oncology staff at Juravinski Hospital, as well as the support staff at Bayshore Home Care for their care and compassion.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Monday, December 19th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Vigil Prayers will take place at 8:30 pm. Monday evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Annunciation of Our Lord Parish, 280 Limeridge Road, West, Hamilton on Tuesday, December 20th at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
