In Celebration of

Giuseppe Sansotta

June 25, 1942 -  September 21, 2019

Sansotta, Giuseppe

Our family is heartbroken to announce the unexpected passing of Giuseppe "Joe" Sansotta on Saturday, September 21 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Angela (nee Farrauto). Together they shared 18 years of marriage and companionship.

Most caring and adored father of Joey (Marcy). Cherished and special nonno of Cheyanne and Heidi. He is survived by his sister Letizia Vetere and pre-deceased by his brother Rocco (Maria) and his brother-in-law, Nicola Vetere.

He will be lovingly remembered by stepsons, Sam Farrauto (Judy), John Farrauto, Philip Farrauto and step-grandchildren, Matthew Farrauto (Christine) and Lucas Farrauto.

Giuseppe will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Europe.

Giuseppe was a true friend and role-model to his son. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren and was always there for them. An avid traveler, Giuseppe enjoyed his many Cuba trips with Angela and friends. Proud of his family and friends, he was always willing to lend a helpful hand to all. Giuseppe was a familiar face at the Italian Club where he was known to spend and enjoy his time with many friends.

Our deepest condolences to his loving wife Angela and to the family. May the memories Joe live on in your hearts.
We will remember Joe fondly, with his warm and friendly personality. The short time that we’ve known Joe, he always made us both feel welcome and was a very sweet gentleman.
Rest In Peace x
