Very sad to hear of this, but glad she went peacefully. Always was a pleasure to visit with her and Uncle Les. They were very kind over the years - even offered to let me stay for a couple of nights when I was playing in a baseball tournament in Hamilton in my late teens (and I accepted.. I got very good breakfasts while I was there!). She will be missed, but remembered fondly. My condolences to her immediate family.

My sincerest condolences to the Bennett family with passing of such a great lady. Auntie Ione and Uncle Les have left my family with wonderful memories. I hope these memories carry you through the hard times.

Sad to hear about Aunty Ione's death. You were so fortunate to have her in your lives for so long. I remember her as a very loving, caring and soft-spoken person.
We are not able to be at her service on Wednesday. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aunt Ione lived a great long life. . Aunt Ione and Uncle Les used to come and visit us a lot over the years.. I hope that Aunt Ione will be doing a lot of knitting, crocheting and quilting up in heaven. She really liked to knit, crochet and to quilt. She sure did knit a lot of squares for a hospital. I will certainly remember Aunt Ione every time I use my afghan and quilt that she made me. She will be missed

We wish to give our condolences to the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We love the picture. She was a beautiful woman and we hear that everyone loved her. We know she will be missed by many.

Over time the sharp edges of grief wear off and happy memories remain but you will all know as well that everyone's grief is different. We wish you strength and we hope that you will be able to tell your children and grandchildren what a special woman she was. She will always be with you because you are a part of her.

God Bless. John and Wilma.
