In Celebration of

Jack Copple

November 16, 1945 -  February 18, 2017

Copple, John (Jack)

Great men are measured by those they've loved and shown kindness to. We're sad to say goodbye to Jack (John) Copple - husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, teammate and coach - a truly great man who touched the lives of many. Jack will be missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Jeanette, his boys who have become great men, Jason, John and Ron, and their wives Leona, Tracey and Donna. He was proud of his grandchildren who loved him so much: Jack, Maggie, True, Jacob, Nathalie and Luc. Jack comes from a close family, Judy & Bill, Ron, Laurel & Mike, Eleanor & Les, Jim & Pat and many loving nieces and nephews. An avid sportsman, Jack played hockey with and coached many great men and spent as much time as he could outdoors.

Friends are invited to visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm until the time of Jack’s Celebration of Life in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Ducks Unlimited or the Canadian Cancer Association. #FUCancer

Jason, Leona, and family - so sorry to hear the news about Jack Sr.....hope you're all doing OK under the circumstances. From a few of the stories we've heard, it sounds like Jack lived a full life, even though way too short. All the best in the coming days as you celebrate his life and surface the many memories that made it so full.
