Hadden, James (1918-2017)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on June 28, 2017. Loving husband of the late Margaret for 70 years. Together, they shared many fond memories of dancing, gardening and long walks on the beach. Beloved father of Peter and his wife Amy, cherished Grandpa of Andrew and Katherine. Predeceased by his six siblings. James now joins his beloved Margaret in peace.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Cremation to follow. A private family service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Nash and the staff at Wentworth Lodge for their care and compassion.

To Peter and family, You may not recognize my name. My parents, Bob and Isa Craik, were very close friends of your Mum and Dad for many years, ever since your arrival in Canada in 1953(?). I talked to your Mum on the phone in 2012(?), I think. She remembered me and we had a very nice conversation.
