Obituary
HELLINGMAN, John (Johannes)

It is with much sadness and many fond memories, that we announce the passing of our dear dad on Monday, July 6 in his 87th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Diny. Much loved father of Tricia of Hamilton and Linda of Charlottetown. Devoted husband to Arlene, and stepfather to Valerie and Randy Bedard. He will be greatly missed by his brother Theo (Meta) Hellingman, sister Ann Vanry (George Beattie), and close cousin Arnold (Anne) Koopman. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours.
John was born in Hilversum, The Netherlands, came to Canada in 1951 and made a good life for his family in the Hamilton/Burlington area.
The family extend sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and volunteers of the Carpenter Hospice, and the nursing staff of Wards 5South and 4East at Joseph Brant Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Carpenter Hospice would be appreciated by the family.

My deepest sympathies to Tricia and Linda. Your Dad was such a kind man. I enjoyed chatting with him at Burlington Mall. He would update my on your latest accomplishments. He was so proud of both of you.
