In Celebration of

John James Siena

January 15, 1956 -  May 30, 2019

SIENA, John James

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone that is loved and cherished. Surrounded by his loving family at the Juravinksi Hospital, Hamilton on Thursday, May 30, 2019, John Siena passed away at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Mary Siena (nee Frattaroli) for 38 years. Loving father of Michael (Kristen), Casey and Matthew (Amy). Cherished Nonno of Johnny, Sam, Matteo and Angelina. Dear son of Anna and the late Michele. John is survived by his sister Lucy Cadeddu (Pat). Dear brother-in-law of Frank (Roxanne), Ralph (Mary), Juliana and Virginia. John will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. John was a loyal employee of the LCBO for over 35 years. John was a simple man who lived for his family. His passion was his grandchildren, tending to his garden and lawn. John enjoyed family dinners and drop in visits. John lived to be hospitable, the house was always open and everyone was welcome. "Lets have a brandy" and "One for the ditch" are words that everyone came to love. We will continue this in your memory. John you are forever in our hearts and are loved "to the moon and back". We Love You. "Ti Voglio Bene assai Nonno". A special thank you to Dr. Lino Lagrotteria and the staff of CICU Juravinski Hospital with special mention of Vanessa for all their care and compassion. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Monday, June 3rd from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-9:00 pm. Vigil Prayers for John will be held on Monday, June 3rd at 3:30 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 4th at 10:00 am at Regina Mundi Roman Catholic Church, 631 Mohawk Road West, Hamilton. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 254 Garner Road West, Ancaster. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to CICU Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton would be appreciated by the family. Please sign the online Book of Condolences at www.baygardens.ca

Rest in Peace John . I will miss you so much. I have many memories of always laughing and joking together when we were growing up. You still made everyone laugh when there were family events and truly enjoyed life . You are taken way too young and there is a deep sadness. May God watch over you

Our sympathy to you all in the loss of John. He was always smiling, I have great memories of John both from our high school days and from watching the boys grow up together. John had a laugh that was so contagious. Rest easy John❤️
