Don, please accept our sincere sympathies at this time of great sadness. John was a kind, caring and thoughtful person. He will be sorely missed.
John was a phenomenal member of a leadership development program where we had the great delight and privilege to meet him. Regardless of the workload he carried, John always arrived for every classroom day gracious, fully present, good humoured and kind. He was interested and interesting; an exceptional human being who, as we discovered, had an unexpected fondness for Play Dough. His delight in life was a joy to experience.
What a privilege to have met John and what a heartbreak that he is gone far too soon. We are so tremendously sad about what an enormous loss this is. Our deepest sympathies to his beloved husband Don and his extended family.
Rest in Peace our friend
Met John in Sault Ste. Marie in the 80’s. Celebrated his 30th birthday with a surprise party with his fellow workers @ the Group Health Center. Lost track with each other but re- connected a few years ago. Had “lunch” with him @ his home on the lake. My husband & I had a great visit with him. Reminiscing his time in the Soo.
Condolences to Don & the rest of amily.
John was a wonderful colleague to work with. He was an incredibly patient, caring, and thoughtful individual. He will be missed.
