In Celebration of

Joseph Anthony Figliola

April 22, 1937 -  December 7, 2017

FIGLIOLA, Joseph Anthony
"Joe Fig"
April 22, 1937 - December 7, 2017

Joe, beloved husband and best friend of Margaret (nee Bond), passed away peacefully at Idlewyld Manor. He was the devoted son of the late Salvatore "Sam" and Calogera "Carrie"; dear youngest brother of the late Gus (late Iris); Mary Mancari (late Cornelius) and the late Norm (Bev). Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Joe was respected for his work as an accountant with Stelco for many years and he was a long-time member of the Italo-Canadian Recreation Club. He loved music, especially Old Blue Eyes, watching old movies, reading, smoking a good cigar and drinking his single malt Scotch. Joe will be fondly remembered at a Memorial Mass at Regina Mundi Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 10 a.m. Fellowship to follow in the Church hall. Cremation has taken place. A special thank you to the staff at Idlewyld Manor, especially Spruceview, for many years of kindness and care. In lieu of flowers, a good deed for an elderly or infirm person would be appreciated.
