SKELLY, Joseph 1937-2017
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Joe on October 31, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Sadie of 57 years and their children Joe (Brigitt), Stephen (Janice), David (Janice), Sharon (the late Roy), Brien ( Shannon)and Joanne ( Brad). Joe was the loving Grandpa to Joe Jr., Nicole, Peter, Ryan, Stephen Jr.,(Jen), Allison (Les), Raymond, David Jr., Amy (Wes), Kelly ( Sean), Melissa(Jordon), Ashlynn ( Simon), Josh, Logan, Luke and Bradley. As well as his great grandchildren Willian, Olivia, Jaiden, Jordan, Alice, Ava, Emma, Lily and Mason. Joe was predeceased by his parents Ellen & John Skelly and he is survived by his siblings John, Eleanor, Kathleen, Margaret, Annie, Jean and Sammy. Joe was a longtime employee of Dofasco before retiring. As per Joes wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcomed to attend Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Sunday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm . Memorial Service will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home Hamilton, 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
