Judy Elrick

March 20, 1953 -  April 2, 2025

Surrounded by her family, it is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Judith Elrick (Judy) at Juravinski Hospital on April 2, 2025 at the age of 72. She was born on March 20, 1953 to Alexander and Joyce Bennett (both predeceased). She married the love of her life Brian Elrick (predeceased). Missed by her sisters Shirley (Angelo) Lauricella, the late Teresa Kendall (the late Neil), the late Donna Rudzinski (Chester), and her brothers Ray Bennett (Jackie) and Peter Bennett. Loved and cherished by her nieces and nephews Tyna (Leanne), William (Morgan), Salvina (Zain), Angela (Joe) and Micheline (Anthony). Sadly missed by great nieces and nephews Eli, Anastasia, Penelope, Hunter and Justess. Missed by other nieces and nephews. Survived by her fur baby Charlie. A big thank you to the ER and Palliative Teams at Juravinski Hospital for the great care they provided. Thank you to Father Mark Gatto for the blessing. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, on Tuesday April 8 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 10am. Interment to follow at Grove Cemetery, Dundas. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Juravinski Cancer Centre.

The sweetest soul one could ever meet. Aunt Judy was far more than an aunt to me and I will love and remember her forever. The courage and selflessness she displayed in her last days were nothing short of admirable as she was still more concerned about others than herself A true testament of the beautiful lady that she was. xoxo
