Policarpio, Justin Ronald (December 3, 1986- September 20, 2017)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Justin, after a long journey with cancer, on September 20, 2017.

Beloved son of Ricardo (Jun) and Magdalene (Maggie). Cherished brother of Sean (Jemma) and uncle to Grayson. Loving boyfriend of Navita; special godson to Lizzie Suedat.

Justin was a proud Hamiltonian who will be sadly missed by relatives and friends here and in the Philippines and Guyana. He was the epitome of a Canadian entrepreneur and leaves behind many friends and colleagues at McMaster University.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Mt. Sinai and Princess Margaret hospitals (Toronto) and Ward C3 Juravinski Hospital.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home - "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON (905.574.0405) on Saturday, September 23rd from 5-9 pm and Sunday, September 24th from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Vigil prayers Sunday at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Charles Garnier, 129 Hughson Street S., Hamilton on Monday, September 25th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton. My heart stopped for a moment when I realized that Justin is no longer on this earth. I cannot imagine the pain in Maggie and Jun's heart, I don't want to imagine either... My heartfelt sympathy to Magg, Jun and Sean and all the loved ones and family, and his friends and colleagues who have lost a gem...
