Kim was always the girls biggest supporter. Whether it be on the ice or on the field-he was always there! Another one gone too soon that I will miss seeing around the rink or on the diamond!!

In his younger years from falling out of a tree and breaking his shoulder, to the bike rides with Rick and the guys, to the lake house for a swim and a barbeque with us. Then to hockey with Rick at the Doublerinks to play shinny. They would be either tearing up the ice or scapping on it. They earned the name the "Hanson Brothers" He soon graduated from the bike to a car . A 67 Ford Farlane we sold him, on payments of course. He was high on life one day he called with an urgency to have us meet someone, could they come for a visit. So we changed our plans that day. He brought his new gal for us to meet. He was on cloud 9 as we used to say... He took me aside and asked what I thought of her. "You need to know, she is very expensive" Kim said a little worried. She was beautiful intelligent and classy. I promptly told him " class doesn't come cheap" and if he let this one go, your nuts, she's a keeper! But I didn't need to tell him that, as she had him "hook line and sinker", Debbie was his girl. Well the rest is history. The beginning.

I opened the paper this morning and was shocked to see Kim's picture in the obituaries.
I worked with Kim at Frost fence for a short time and I must say he was one of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure of working beside.Kim was one of those guys that you were happy to run into and you always wanted the best for him.
Kim's infectious smile and attitude was a pleasure to be around I'm sure that he will be sorraly missed by his family and friends and anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you at this very sad time.

Always a fierce competitor on the diamonds.Usually did whatever it took to win.But once that game was over, that man with a big heart of gold showed up.Joking and laughing with a rye in his hand.We have missed you Kim and team and will continue to do so.

The first time I met Kim he was 16yrs old. His Mom had had been grocery shopping and the boys Kim and Bobby helped bring in the bags. Kim grabbed two or three cans of beans from the bag and immediately opened and ate all of it plus several other items before they could even be put away. Then took off to a game. As a new wife, married to Kim's Uncle Bob and about to have our first baby I just stood there with my mouth open in disbelief. (I had been raised with two sisters and no brothers) I thought to myself "I sure hope we are having a girl!"........... boys will eat us out of house and home.

RIP Kim. Our deepest sympathies go out to Debbie, Dana & family and Amanda.

Your Uncle Bob and Aunt Trudy.
