Hi Linda It was the day we didn't want to think about, but once we got started, we had a wonderful day and I want to share with you what transpired.

Firstly, Paul picked Eddie and I up and dropped us at Chippewa. The ride was subdued for sure. Since Larry usually bought us a coffee and a fresh out of the oven muffin, we had to do it ourselves. Once we settled in our room where we get organized, no one sat in Larry's regular chair. Larry was also Honourary Captain of Team #1 today.

Before we started to golf, I asked Craig Cook to lead our group of 11 today in a moment of Silence to remember Larry and he said some beautiful words of inspiration, highlighting how much Larry loved to be part of the Tuesday Golf Group and the people he met there.

As usual we finished our round and gathered for a beer. Frank Reia bought the French fries today for the group, something Larry also has done. And everyone wanted to buy the pitcher of beer today and we all chucked because Larry always wanted to do his part and buy a pitcher and had to be told many times that it was not his turn!

I had invited all of our golfers of the day and other friends including many who were at the service yesterday, to assemble at 3 pm in our garage for a special toast to Larry. We kept his chair clear for awhile but so many people dropped over that we even had to use his chair and bring extras from the neighbours!

In all 21 people gathered and toasted Larry today. It was really crowded, but it was AWESOME,

We will never forget this day, all of us thinking about our friend who meant so much to us.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
