After a brave battle with cancer, Lesa passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto on September 27, 2017. Loving mother to David and his wife Shirley and adoring nana to Elizabeth and Charlie. Will be sadly missed by her step-father Larry and her step-mother Bernadette. Lesa leaves behind her sisters Karen (Tom), Lourdes (Tony), Juanita and her brothers Carl, Brian and Sam. Dear friend to Keith and June. Lesa will be remembered with love by many extended family and friends. A private family service to be held. If desired, donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation in Lesa’s Memory.
