Obituary
Madeline Rachel Ross Silverthorne
Born: March 30, 1995
Died: May 09, 2016

Peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital surrounded by family. Cherished daughter of Helen Ross and Daniel Silverthorne. Loved sister of Emma Silverthorne and beloved granddaughter of Anne and Anthony Ross and Robert and Virginia Silverthorne. Loved by aunts, uncles, cousins, care-givers and friends too numerous to list. Born in Burlington, Ontario, Maddy lived with her family until 2009 when she moved to Sunbeam Residential Centre in Kitchener. Staff cared for her like she was their own. Known to many as “Miss Maddy” she loved music, funny stories, and being with people. Most often seen with a smile on her face her joyful and contagious spirit brought happiness to all. Maddy was a ray of sunshine that brightened any day. A memorial service, open to all, to celebrate Madeline's life will be held Saturday May 14th at 2:00 pm at First Hamilton Christian Reformed Church, 181 Charlton St Hamilton . In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sunbeam Residential Centre Kitchener http://www.sunbeamcentre.com

Dear Helen
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. While I never had the opportunity to meet Maddie in person, I know from the many stories you shared about her amazing life journey that she was a blessing to all. May she rest in peace.
With deepest sympathy.

Dear Helen, Emma, and family:
You are in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the passing of Maddy. She will forever be to me the beautiful curly-haired girl with big eyes and a radiant smile, one who embraced life with joy. Wishing you peace and strength at this difficult time.
