It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Mary on Sunday, July 27th, 2025. Mary passed away peacefully at Regina Gardens Long Term Care Residence at the age of 92, after a lengthy illness.

Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Alex (2014). Loving and dearly loved mother to Patricia Engelbrecht (David) and Marguerite Ryan. Proud grandmother to, and dearly loved by her grandchildren, Daniel Ryan and Shari Braden (Tom). Special “Gigi” to Aspen Braden who brought her so much joy. Predeceased by her parents Koran and Dzvanousch Oynoian, her sisters Helen Lorenz (Wolfgang, predeceased) and Marge Oynoian and brother Norman Oynoian, all of Michigan. Survived by her brother John (Peggy) Oynoian of Michigan. Predeceased also by her sister-in-law Roxanne Hatch (Harry, predeceased) and brother-in-law Arnold Eloian. Dearest aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Mary was always beautifully dressed and was a kind and caring woman who valued the friendships that she made. Mary spent her last few months at Regina Gardens Long Term Care Residence and the family wishes to the thank the staff for their kindness and care of her.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Service will be in the Chapel on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 at 11:00 am. Inurnment at Mount Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton.
