In Celebration of

Michael Murphy "Murph"

January 9, 1962 -  July 16, 2024

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Michael (Murph). Mike leaves behind his three boys that he shared with wife Valerie Murphy, Aaron, Austin and Mikey. He adored his kids and loved them dearly.

He was the son of Eleanor Norris and the late Robert Murphy who loved him and cherished him. Michael was the younger brother of his two sister’s whom he loved with all his heart. Leigh Goldsmith and Jo Murphy (Jeff). Michael also leaves behind his nieces and nephew’s who treasured him and fondly gave him the nickname “Uncle Moo Moo”.

He will also be missed by his partner Christine.

Michael had a very good sense of humour, always made everyone laugh. He was the life of the party wherever he went. His greatest loves, beside his kids were fishing, drawing, and playing guitar.

He will be missed terribly by all his friends and relatives.

Family will receive friends at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, on Thursday July 25th at 3 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life in the Chapel at 4pm.

Donations to Heart and Stroke and Music Counts would be greatly appreciated by the family.

I express my deepest sympathy. The Bible promises that your loved one will come to life again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more in John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4.

Mike will, indeed, be surely missed and so will that amazing sense of humour he brought forth at every single gathering!!!

I will miss you!!, You made me laugh so hard all the time, love to hear you play guitar and sing. Hope you are at peace and say hi to my Mom and Dad for me. This world is a little more empty without you in it 💔
