We Announce with deep sadness the passing of our Dad, peacefully in his 99th year at Langstaff Square Care Community, Richmond Hill, Ontario.Beloved husband to late wife Helen (nee Wawrow) for 32 years and to wife Pearl Boljkovac (nee Suzack, pre-deceased) for 24 years. Loving and devoted Father to daughters April Klein (Mark ) of Thornhill and Carol-Ann Cohen of Thornhill. Dearest loving stepfather to sons Craig Boljkovac (Maria Cristina Cardenas Fischer) of Geneva, Switzerland, and Chris Boljkovac (Catherine ) of St. Albert, Alberta. Stepfather to Kathy (Dr. Kim Parlett) of Bracebridge and Kim Peitchinis of Hamilton. Loving and caring grandfather of Alana Howarth (Mark) and Matthew Klein. Loving and caring step-grandfather of Alicia and Benjamin Boljkovac, Adam and Ryan Boljkovac and Brittney and Blake Parlett. Loving Uncle to nephews Brian and Peter Shadney and niece Gloria Jolink (Mike) and loving great-uncle to Taylor Shadney (Bethany) and to great nieces Jessica and Nicole Jolink. Predeceased by brother Archie and sister-in-law Jeannie. Owen will be greatly missed by all of us. Owen was an amazing Dad with a zest for life. He was a successful prominent Businessman and Entrepreneur in various business ventures throughout the Hamilton community.Together with his brother Archie, opened the Golden Steer, Hamilton's first steak house. Beside his love of hockey and music (He played 14 string instruments) Owens greatest passion was his collection of antique and classic cars with his 1930 Packard as his favourite. Owen and his Packard became famous in the movie "The Black Stallion" in which he chauffeured movie star Mickey Rooney. Owen and his Packard was host to many dignitaries including The Right Honorable Pierre Elliott Trudeau Prime Minister of Canada and Governor General Roland Michener.
