In Celebration of

Patrick Frank Consoli

July 6, 1948 -  July 22, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we share that our husband, father and Nonno, Pat Consoli, passed away peacefully on Monday July 22, 2024, at the age of 76.

He is survived by his saint of a wife of 54 years, Sue. Loving father of Jason (Tamara) and Brandy (Erik Oliveira). Beloved Nonno of Matteo, Jordan, Elia and Tavio.

Born in San Donato di Ninea, Calabria, Italy on July 6, 1948, to Francesco and Angelica Consoli. He moved to Canada as a small child. His siblings are Domenico (Cettina), Giovanna (the late Settimo), Caterina (Vincenzo), Elvira (Frank), Guido (the late Ellen), Ralph (Dee), Dora (the late Bob) and Gina (Rick). He is also survived by is mother in law, Donna Crease, predeceased by his father-in-law Donald Crease. He will missed by all of them as well as his many nieces, nephews and extended families.

He was a long-time employee of the Canada Post, known for his fun, loving ways and his pranks with coworkers. He always enjoyed a good laugh, known as “Good looking Pat”, he loved creating great memories and sharing those stories of his adventures as Postman Pat.

He was a caregiver to his own mother in her later years, a responsibility that he carried out with grace and love.

He was a long-time member of Chedoke Golf Course and their hole-in-one club, a legend of sorts known by many usually because he enjoyed getting the other golfers riled up with his antics. He loved to get people going and create amazing memories on golf trips with the guys. He earned a black belt in Okinawin Shorin-Ryu. He will be remembered as a Sensei who cared about his students. He was a great mentor to many of his kids’ friends. He was an avid gardener, who found joy later in life in trying new recipes in the kitchen, much to the dismay of Sue who had to toss many pots and pans thanks to his “creations”.

He was often a royal pain but, at the end of the day, everything that came from Pat came with love and those of us who had him in our lives are blessed with many fun, loving memories of some amazing times over the years.

Our deepest condolences to the Consoli family. I met "Ninja" my first day at the post office and from that day on we had great times. I loved playing golf against him, playing cards. We had such good times.

Condolences from the Borges family.
