To a wonderful mom who knew how to live life, a lesson learned from your own parents ... you will be remembered and missed every day. I'm especially thankful for these later years with you after dad passed and having our time together. Loved being able to share "church" each Sunday with you at Ridgeview this past year, and for our monthly hymn sings there. I know that you are with dad now, your parents and other treasured loved ones in heaven with Jesus. What a comfort that knowledge is to me tonight, the night before your service, where we honor you with our memories. Love you and glad you are "home" now, in peace.

We had just moved to Binbrook in 1997 when I had a visit from Phyllis as the Welcome Wagon Lady! She loved her community & her church, Binbrook United. It was Phyllis who invited our family to join Binbrook United Church. It has been our church home for 20 years and has been a great place filled with wonderful people - a great church home to raise a family and grow as Christians. Phyllis was always so kind, friendly and thoughtful to us.

Cora-Anne & Al & family

Many warm memories of your mom from Binbrook United Church and being neighbours with your family as we were growing up. She was such an active community member, and we were always warmly greeted with her familiar terms of endearment such as "honey" or "sweetie." A lovely lady. Thinking of you all.

No one welcomed or fussed over you more at one of her get togethers than Phyllis. Jello molds, assorted veggies from her garden, a buffet of dishes. The Tipler/Nichol get togethers were the BEST.

Much love to the family, from Garry, Gail, Gina, Jane and families!

I remember going to Sundays to church with Cora-Anne and Mrs. Tipler to the United Church for Sunday School and Church. Our family used to have Victoria Day picnics with the Tiplers.
