In great sadness and with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pranvera Hametaj at the age of 60 years young. After a difficult and painful fight with cancer, she could no longer endure the pain it was causing her family. She always put others first and remained selfless until her last breath.

She had a great smile and positive attitude no matter the circumstances. With an active soul, she loved her volleyball family, swimming with her grandson and numerous walks round the neighborhood. As an enthusiastic traveler, she visited many places around the world with family and friends sharing moments of joy and happiness.

As her last wish she asked for her family, friends and colleagues not to mourn her passing but instead to celebrate the life she had with all of us. Let’s share our memories of how she impacted each and everyone of us and let there be tears of joy as we all reunite during this celebration.

Me trishtim të madh dhe me zemra të thyer ne njoftojm humbjen e njeriut tone te dashur Pranvera Hametaj në moshën 60 vjeçe. Pas një lufte të vështirë dhe të dhimbshme me kancerin, ajo nuk mundi tja dilte. Vera gjithmonë ishte optimiste dhe shpesh here dhimbjen e te tjerve e vinte para dhimbjes së saj.

Ajo gjithmone kishte një buzëqeshje dhe qëndrim pozitiv gjat gjith jetës së saj. Pranvera gjithmone demonstronte një shpirt aktiv ku spikatnin aktivitet sportive si volejbolli, noti me Adrianin e vogël, si dhe shëtitjet e shumta që ajo i aq shumë i pëlqente. Vera kaloj një jetë shumë të lumtur me gjithë familjen dhe shoqërine e saj duke udhëtuar dhe gëzuar cdo moment.

Një nga dëshirat e saj të fundit, qe ajo kërkoi nga familja dhe miqtë, ishte që largimi i saj to mos jetë një ditë e trishtuar por një ditë që njerzit të kujtonin momentet e gëzuare që Vera kishte me ta. Ju lutemi le të ndajmë kujtimet më të mira që ka secili prej jush për Verën tone dë dashur.

Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd E. Hamilton ON. L8W 3M2 starting at 10:30 am. Service will follow at 11:30 am.
