In Celebration of

Reynaldo Lim

Passing on August 21, 2017 at the St. Peter's Hospital at the age of 70. surrounded by his beloved family. A faithful husband of Lily Lim and a loving father to Elaine and Karen. Rey was born on January 2, 1947 in Silay City, Philippines. He immigrated to Canada in 1993 along with his wife and two children.

He graduated at La Salle College, Bacolod City Negros Occidental with a Bachelors of Science and Commerce majoring in Accounting. At a young age he was a 4th Degree Karate Black Belter. He is also known for his chess prowess. He mentored teenagers in his old neighborhood in Silay City to use Karate as self defense.

Reynaldo retired at the age of 65 and had been going back to his hometown in the Philippines every year to pursue his passion for fishing, cockfighting and during his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, relatives and former colleagues in the sugar industry.

He will be deeply missed with his stories and singing of Frank Sinatra classics. He is very loved by his siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

We would like to thank the staff of Juravinski Cancer Centre and St. Peter's Hospital.

My Dearest Tito Toyong Reynaldo Lim! Words cannot express how much I miss you already! You fought hard and now you're with Lolo Cesar and Lola Des! Just a little part of me is okay because you're no longer in pain, but the selfish part of me just wanted you to stay longer, to hear you sing Frank Sinatras classic, to make sure I get to take home a full tray of Leche Flan and to hear your stories!! Holidays will be different without you😭 I miss you!! But don't worry Tito, you'll always be in our hearts!!! We love you very much!!!! Rest in Peace!!!!! Tito!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭❤️😢😭!!!!
