TUDICO, Richetto - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Richetto Tudico, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, surrounded by his adoring family. He was a loving and devoted husband to Gioconda for 46 years, cherished father to Giovanni and Rico (Nikki Lamb Tudico). A special and doting Nonno to his grandson Presley. He is predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Rachela Tudico. Loving brother to Ilde and husband (deceased), Giovannina and husband (deceased), Gina and husband (deceased). Also loving brother to Pasqualino and wife Dora, his sisters Mimma (husband deceased), Maria Tudico and Sandrina (husband deceased). He was a special uncle to many nieces and nephews in Italy and the United States. He was thankful for the on-going love and support of family, friends, and especially Shannon Veltri. Richetto was born on December 29, 1929 in Paganica, L'Aquila Italy. He was a hardworking master tile setter, who came to Canada in 1957, first living in Toronto for 3 years. He returned to Italy to get married, and together with his wife Gioconda they settled in Hamilton, ON, Canada, where they created a life together as they raised their two sons. Richetto loved and enjoyed making his own vino, sausage and prosciuttini, gardening, watching soccer and spending time with all his incredible friends and family playing cards and bocce. He especially loved playing with his grandson and showing him how to plant vegetables in his garden. He also enjoyed spending time with his grand dog Maximus. We love you very much and SARAI SEMPRE NEI NOSTRI CUORI. Family will receive friends at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd. E., Hamilton, on Friday, November 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with vigil prayer to be held at 7:30 p.m. The Mass will be held at Annunciation of Our Lord, 280 Limeridge Rd. W., Hamilton, on Saturday, November 4th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemeteries, 254 Garner Rd. W., Ancaster, at 11 a.m
