In Celebration of

Sandra Dorothy Hutter

Sandra Hutter (nee Chandler) was born December 25, 1939, in Montreal, Quebec to Albert and Dorothy Chandler and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on April 7, 2019 at Carpenter Hospice in Burlington at the age of 79.

As a young woman Sandra spent time at Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp in Coburg, Ontario where she met and fell in love with Carl Hutter. Carl and Sandra married in 1962 and began their married lives in Montreal.

Their first child was a son, Christopher, born in 1967, their second child, a daughter, Karen, was born in 1971. Not long after this the Hutter family moved from Montreal to Toronto. They enjoyed wonderful years in Toronto and experienced the joys that came with graduations and weddings for both children.

With both children grown, Carl & Sandra moved to Detroit, Michigan for Carl’s job. Over the many years there, Sandra developed many lasting friendships and received many Canadian visitors to their home there. In their retirement Carl & Sandra moved back to Canada and settled in Belleville, Ontario where they enjoyed the beauty of the countryside and Sandra lovingly tended her many gardens. Their time in Belleville brought many years of new friendships and memorable family times that both Sandra’s grandchildren and children will always treasure.

Sandra will be dearly missed by her children Christopher (Kimberly) and Karen (Bradley Hughes); her four grandchildren: Mackenzie and Rachel Hutter and Chloe and Parker Hughes as well as many extended family and friends.

Sandra I am going to miss our telephone conversations. You were an inspiration to me and True friend. So many memories in Florida and at Lakeshore. We both shared a deep love for our children and grandchildren. We also loved to shop so many visits to Marshals and TJ Mack’s. we were blessed to have husbands who loved and cared for us. Today you are re united with all those who have gone before. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
