It is with sorrowful hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Séan in his 71st year, on Tuesday November 7th, after a courageous battle with cancer. Séan was the beloved husband of Mary (Conaty), and cherished father of Sinead (Tim) and Rory (Michelle). The joys of his life were his grandchildren: Caidance, Reece, Ava, Annie, Merrin and Declan. One of 11 children born to Michael and Jane (Dermody) in Co Cavan, Ireland; Patrick (Barbara), Noel, Austin (Carmel), Fechin (Margaret), Aiden (Kathy), Martin, Gerry (Monica), Paul (Mary), Bernadette, Teresa (Phillip). He will be greatly missed by his siblings, in-laws, nieces and nephews in Canada and abroad. Sean was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family. Our thanks to the doctors and nurses on the oncology ward for the compassionate care given to him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juravinski Centre or a charity of your choice.
