It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sergio on October 13, 2024, in his 93rd year, at the Juravinski Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Eva (2009) of 52 years. Loving father of Mary Anne (Gino) DiCiocco. Nonno will be sadly missed by his granddaughter Arianna (Tristan). Dear brother-in-law of Nino Bucci, and of Adele Lymar. Predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Letizia Zanini, and his sister Antonietta “Toni” Bucci. He will be dearly missed by several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the wonderful staff, and particularly the nurses and PSWs, at the Villa Italia Retirement Residence for the care they provided over the last few years.

Visitation will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Drive Burlington, on Wednesday October 16, 2024 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A funeral service will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home Burlington Chapel on Thursday October 17, 2024, at 11 am, with entombment to follow at Bayview Cemetery and Crematorium.
